Valentines, Pop up Kennel card " Love Shack" Freebie

I was thinking about Lauren's With Love kit and as it included the doggie couple I thought it might be a nice idea to make another kennel card giveaway. This time I thought we wouldn't base it on the Pop up Box like the last one, but on a 3d shaped kennel card which will fold flat. The following is what I've come up with. You could decorate it with Lauren's With Love as I have done or maybe you might have something else in your collection.

Lemonade Fizz Art page with Blend Modes.

I've made an art page using Polkadoodles Lemonade Fizz, this time using Blend modes in my software. It's fascinating to see the different results using the different modes on the same page.This image shows the items on top of the ladies picture. The frame which is the chalkboard item has an Overlay blend. The flowers have a Difference blend, which totally change the colours.

With Valentines day just around the corner I've been making some crafty things with Lauren C. Waterworth's new kit With Love. It has lots of animal pairs to play with, as well as some beautiful flowers and other bits and pieces, topped off with some beautiful matching papers, right for any occasion not just Valentines day!

With Love Cat card tutorial

I've had a request for the instructions to make the cat card, from the samples on Escape and Scrap for Lauren C. Waterworth's new kit With Love. It goes together basically the same way as a Pop up Box card, without the flaps. I've prepared a diagram of the pieces with the sizes and a letter key as to how they join. It's a very simple card which could be made in many variations. The one thing that I can say is if you don't want any white card showing  print a paper on the reverse side before you start, but you don't have to. The card folds flat to one side.

Pieces 1,2,3,4 form the base square shape and 6 is the cross piece in the middle as in a Pop up Box base. The heart has been added to the inside back and the cats were placed on piece 5 and then stuck to the front of 6.

Christmas in Edinburgh

Christmas 2017, we decided to go to Edinburgh for a couple of nights to visit the Christmas Market. It was really fantastic and Edinburgh was beautifully decorated. I've scrapped this page to remind me. There was street food and stalls until 10 o clock at night.

New Year scrap

In the New Year I always have a look at those photos we have taken over the Christmas Holidays and scrap a few, so that next year I can see just how much the Grandchildren have grown. It brings back lots of memories of happy times together. Give it a go! Kit Christmas Joy Polkadoodles.
