Explosion card Part 1

I was asked by a member of the Serif CraftArtist software beginners group about the possibility of making an Explosion box. This is what I've come up with.

The box has been made from 5 pieces of coloured card and some inkjet paper for the decoration. I had my Grandchildren's holiday snaps to scrap so I decided to use Polkadoodles Summer Breeze Digi scrap kit. I love the little beach huts and beautiful papers in this kit. This is the closed box. Every image on the box is flat, it is the drop shadows that makes the images raised. You could make a box and use decoupage to decorate, but due to my time restrictions I decided on Digital 3d.

This is a close up of the detail of the inside centre. I decided the box would make a perfect little gift for a child to give for a Birthday. The Pop up Circus

I was looking on Google and came across matchbox theaters. I had purchased a digi kit from  Daisytrail  before the shop closed and thought I would love to make a matchbox circus. The matchbox itself I made from a frozen pizza box.I decorated this with elements and papers from the kit. The tent image went onto the back of the tray and then I inserted all of the figures into another box I made to fit inside the matchbox.

This is the box sleeve for when the circus goes away.

Summer Breeze Holiday

I decided to scrap some of my grandchildren's holiday photographs and decided to use Summer Breeze to do it. I just adore the little beech huts. I also thought about including the year and used the balloons as they seemed to complete the right angle in the bottom right corner and give a little height without being overpowering. Lauren C. Waterworth Botanical gardens scrap

I had to choose how to scrap a photograph I had taken at the Edinburgh botanical gardens. The gardens were beautiful and well worth a visit. It was very atmospheric, so I decided to use Midnight Lake painted by Lauren C. Waterworth. I love her detail and what I call twiddly bits that can make up a page by filling space. i love the star groups and the magical moon.

Marshmallow Fluff card

I wanted to make a Birthday card with a name. It was made in CraftArtist and is completely flat, even though there is scope for some decoupage. The letters have been cut from a paper and decorated with flowers.

Lauren C. Waterworth Birthday card 2

This card was designed in CraftArtist. I needed a card for my Aunt's birthday and thought you can't go wrong with a nice tea service! This is more of the artwork of Lauren C. Waterworth, it was a digiscrap kit painted when she was an artist at Serif's Daisytrail. I love the shabby chic feel of the kit. I'm so looking forward to getting Laurens next kit. Lemon Top at sea

A scrap page made with Lemon Top Digi scrap kit. I thought I'd limit the colour choice with this one. I loved the beige, browns and turquoise together. I had the photographs of the ship and thought this was the perfect kit to scrap them.
