More Artist Trading Coins

It's given me so much satisfaction making these tiny art projects. I've made them in groups of six and can not bring myself to exchange them! They are all on my desk and I just love to look at them. I even ordered a EK success 2 1/2 inch punch on Friday and was so happy when it was delivered on Saturday, I've made another two sets of coins. Hubby's eaten a tube of Pringles so I now must decorate it to store my coins in. What do they say about little things please little minds ....!

They have gold embossed edges and added Glamour dust.

New Step block card files

I've been looking at Step block cards for a while and have finally got around to making the template for the freestanding version, with the steps inside of the cards to follow later. We have the usual CraftArtist version for CraftArtist users, cutting files for the machines and the PDF. I've made two versions for my samples. The shape is suitable for all types of cards but I've just made Birthdays as I have two coming up in the family! x

Yesterday I've been playing with a new text collection PDFs from MJM Design Studios. I've made cards but I'm hoping to put together a mini scrapbook project file later, so I've cut the words out on the Silhouette and they're looking good. I'm also thinking about using them for sentiments by die cutting them. The collection is only £2-50. I've got a busy week this week but hopefully I'll find time to play. I'll post the cards I've made so far x

Stuffed Envelope Template Freebie

I've been going to make a stuffed envelope for some time and I've finally got around to it. I've made this one for my Granddaughter Eleanor as she's studying very hard at the moment for her exams. Artist Trading Coins

A post came up on Facebook for a group making Artist Trading coins. I thought to myself that looks interesting as I'd had a go with Artist Trading Cards. The coins are 2 1/2 inch circles and as far as decoration, anything goes! I had a Sizzix die of that size so I set about cutting the coins from a cereal packet. I've designed mine in my CraftArtist software and used my Silhouette for to cut the decoration, but they could be cut by hand. I've used some decoupage pieces, embossing powder, copper stickles and a bit of foiling with my new WRMK Quill pen. I've included a CraftArtist project file, cutting files for coins and image files for the backs in, Silhouette, ScanNcut, SVG and PDF. The files are pretty basic but I couldn't work out how to print and cut the backs on some of the machines, just add 2 1/2 inch circles over the backs.I think I might add a Special page for my coin collections when I make a few https://grannytwinkle.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html. In the mean time I have made my first collection of 6 with a Steampunk theme. They are a nice little project that won't take up lots of room. They apparently be stored in a Pringles tube!

Happy Easter Part 2

I'm still playing with Happy Easter, Lauren C. Waterworth. I've made a small box to fit inbetween 2 embellishments, In this case the basket of Easter eggs from the kit.It could hold a bag of small Easter eggs, chocolates, melts, soap etc. depending on your embellishment. All you must do is size your embellishment to fit your box. The box is 2" square but you could make it larger or smaller by scaling it and remember when you print and cut your embellishments to Mirror one of them. I have made a CraftArtist project version, the cutting files and the PDF.
