Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles #Polkadoodles

At the moment I'm scrapping my families holiday snaps, I'm making pages with Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles #Polkadoodles. It has some beautiful papers, a myriad of wonderful embellishments and the most fantastic little boy and girl characters doing all kinds of Summer adventures. It would make great birthday cards too. The whole collection can be purchased all together or in parts. I had to have the lot and am finding I am looking for photographs to go with the characters rather than the other way around!

Wall art Belle Papillon Polkadoodles

Yesterday I decided I needed something new for my bedroom wall and decided to make a canvas. Well to cut a long story short I couldn't find a one, they must be in my safe place, so I made a one out of Kraft card and this is the result,it's basically a box made with A4 card top and bottom about 1 inch thick.  I've used the fabulous Belle Papillon, and decorated it with copper embossing powder, foil, lace, ribbon, glitter and gem stones.I'm quite pleased with it. I've added the  lady who I've cut from a Vintage photograph.

Gothic Art doll template

I wanted to make an Art doll with Gothic Fairytale by Lauren C.Waterworth as there were several female heads in this kit and some beautiful matching papers. So I made my template and off I went and this is the result. I'm very pleased with her. She is decorated with a brown foil and translucent glitter, which is hard to see in the photo. Her joints are joined with small brads, I have a template which has more jointed limbs (elbows and knees) which I'll add at a later date. I've hung her up with a ribbon. but I do intend to add her to a photo frame. The template is available as a PDF by download, I'll add the link to the bottom of the post.

Freebie window card

This week I was given a window card cutting file by Linda Tucker a lady from one of the CraftArtist Facebook groups to try. With a small adjustment and some add ons we came up with the following cards. The sash card was made as a CraftArtist project file as there are only four panes to cut for CraftArtist users without cutters. I have cut the sash window card by hand. I found it easier to make a hole in the middle of each pane and cut to the corners. There is a PNG to go with the windows containing the curtains, which could be recoloured. I have used artwork by Lauren C. Waterworth including her new Happy Birthday  Linda x
